Lake Striker Crappie & Bass Fishing
Tournament Rules

1. Legal Limits
– All fish must meet Texas Parks & Wildlife legal size and creel limits. Any undersized or over-limit fish will result in disqualification.

2. Live Fish Requirement
– Fish must be alive at weigh-in. Dead fish will not be counted. Anglers are encouraged to use aerated live wells or fish baskets.

3. Lake Striker Waters Only
– All fish must be caught within Lake Striker during the tournament hours. Fishing outside of the designated boundaries or bringing in outside fish will result in immediate disqualification.

4. Boat Inspections
– Tournament officials will inspect all boats and live wells before launch. Any uninspected boats will not be eligible for weigh-in.

5. Tournament Hours
– Fishing hours will be announced before the event. Anglers must check in before weigh-in. Late check-ins may result in disqualification.

6. Bait & Equipment
– Both artificial and live bait are allowed unless otherwise specified. No illegal baiting or chumming is permitted.

7. Team & Individual Entries
– The tournament is open to both solo anglers and team entries. Teams must fish from the same boat, and only one daily limit per team will be weighed.

8. Sportsmanship
– Participants must adhere to proper fishing etiquette and conduct themselves respectfully toward fellow anglers, officials, and spectators. Any violations may result in disqualification.

9. Ties & Scoring
– In case of a tie, the angler with the largest single fish (by weight) will be the winner. If still tied, the earliest fish weighed will break the tie.

10. Weigh-In Rules
– Anglers must be in line for weigh-in before the cutoff time. Any late arrivals will not have their fish weighed.

11. Disputes & Protests
– Any disputes must be brought to the tournament director immediately following weigh-in. The director’s decision is final.

12. Safety & Boating Regulations
– All anglers must follow Texas state boating laws, including life jacket requirements and safe boating practices.

13. Weather Delays & Cancellations
– The tournament committee reserves the right to delay or cancel the event due to severe weather or unsafe conditions. No refunds will be given for weather-related cancellations.
